Frequently Asked Questions
We work regularly with several plan designers and architects, depending on the scope of your project, or we can work with your own. If you already have plans and want us to provide a bid, we can do that as well.
We take on renovation and addition work throughout the greater San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels and Texas Hill Country areas, including many of the same neighborhoods where we build new custom homes.
We don’t offer “in-house” financing, but we have arrangements with several local lenders who can handle construction financing for renovations and additions.
As a true custom builder, we’re happy to accommodate requests for any special materials or amenities in a renovation or addition. Our only requirement is that it’s structurally sound.
We're a turnkey remodeler, which means we detail the specifications of all the work in the contract. We typically present the bid as a lump-sum contract in which we take on the risk for theft, price increases, and the like. This becomes your “drive-out” price. We generally include allowances for items such as tile, light fixtures and plumbing so you have a realistic budget to select from after the contract is signed.
We offer the same complete warranty package we provide on new homes: a 10-year structural warranty from a third-party provider, two years of coverage on mechanicals, and a one-year warranty on all workmanship after completion.
